Tiwa Savage is showing a bit more of h-er life as a mum in 2016.
Late last night the yummy mummy sh@red a p!c of h-er and h-er son just before h!s bedtime. The p!c shows the singer in h-er pajamas on mummy duty, reading a bedtime story to h-er six month old son with h-er hubby – Tee Billz.
And while the Mavin 1st lady acknowledges that sh-e has already started reading early to b@by Jamil, sh-e also let it be known that sh-e wants h-er son to speak h!s native language and as such speaks to him in Yoruba.
sh-e wrote in h-er caption,
Ok so I know it’s a bit early but I started reading to jamjam already before bedtime, I want to get him used to reading then my mum asks if I would speak yoruba to him as well, then I said of course as it is so important to me for him to speak h!s native language.
Do you yummy mummies agree?#MomsKnowBest
I l0ve that Tiwa is teaching h-er son Yoruba. I have found that with a lot of exposure, many modern parents are not passing on the knowledge of their native language to their children.
Meanwhile we spotted all 3 of the Balogun family a few days ago at Olivia Idibia’s 2nd birthday party which went down in Lekki, Lagos.

DO YOU AGREE THAT IT’S IMPORTANT FOR CHILDREN TO SPEAK THEIR NATIVE AFRICAN LANGUAGE?
